Meta’s rates

Meta’s rate card — the one we bill you at.

Every WhatsApp message your business sends is priced by Meta, per recipient country and message category. airbees charges you Meta’s published rate, with zero markup from us — the same number you can verify on Meta’s own pricing page at any time.

What changed on 1 October 2026

From 1 October 2026 Meta charges a fourth category, service: your replies to a customer inside the 24-hour customer-service window. We bill it at Meta’s rate for the recipient’s country, and add nothing.

  1. Before 1 October 2026

    Service replies were free

A reply inside the 24-hour window cost nothing on the card that applied until then.

  2. From 1 October 2026

They are charged at the utility rate

Country by country, a service message costs what a utility message costs there. The Service column below shows each country’s rate.

  3. Stays free

    The 72-hour ad window

Messages in the 72-hour window that opens when a customer arrives from a click-to-WhatsApp ad stay free.

Meta’s 1 October 2026 card also revised some other rates, and nine countries that Meta used to price inside a shared row now have a row of their own: Bangladesh, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Sri Lanka and Ukraine. The table shows that card in full. The card that applied before stays one click away as history. Rates are in AED for UAE businesses and in USD everywhere else, +VAT where applicable.

Billing currency

UAE businesses are billed from Meta’s AED card, everyone else from its USD card.

Which card

The current card is the one your wallet is charged from. The July card is kept as history.

How to check us

Meta publishes its WhatsApp Business Platform pricing publicly at developers.facebook.com — WhatsApp pricing, in sixteen currencies including UAE dirhams. If your business is in the UAE you are billed from Meta’s AED card; everywhere else, from Meta’s USD card. Download the card for your currency from Meta, pick any country and category, and compare it with the row above and with the rate in your wallet in The Hive. Same digits, to the fourth decimal. Nothing converted, nothing added. That is the whole point.

Meta prices most of the world in regions: a message to Bahrain, Jordan or Lebanon, for example, is priced at Meta’s “Rest of Middle East” rate. The table lists which countries each region covers, and the search box finds a country inside its region. For service messages the rule is Meta’s own, on its page on service messages. When Meta reprices, a new dated card takes effect with notice — history is never rewritten, and last month’s messages stay on last month’s card.
